If you’re looking to escape the sweltering valley heat, or if you’re just passing through town and would like to spend a night or two in Alta, then why not consider staying at the Goldminer’s Daughter Lodge? Alta is the perfect location for those who’d like to escape up into the Wasatch Mountains and enjoy the alpine vistas. There are plenty of hiking trails accessible from our front door, and with Snowbird just down the road there are plenty of restaurants and activities to keep you and your family entertained.
Located in our Northeast Wing, in one of the quieter parts of the lodge, the Wildflower Suites are the perfect place to escape. With about 458 square feet of space, the Wildflower Suites are comprised of two rooms: a private bedroom with a king bed and a living room with two twin day beds, as well as a private bathroom. If you want to cook your own meals, each suite has a full kitchen with a stove/oven, a refrigerator, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a Keurig coffee machine. There’s also a washer/dryer if you need to do your own laundry during your stay.
Because we’re technically closed during the off-season, the lodge will be empty and quiet, and even though a few employees live on the premise it will feel as though you have to place all to yourself. A few days before your arrival you will receive an email with a 4-digit keylock code, which will let you into the lobby. At our front desk you will find an envelope with your room key(s) and information on the lodge. Free wifi is provided but you will need your own Amazon Prime account to log into our Amazon Firesticks.
Only our game room and our gym will be available to our summer guests. All other rooms and wings will remain closed.
Parking is available along the side of the building. Please don’t park overnight in the main lot or else you risk being towed.
