Thanksgiving is a great time to spend with family, it doesn’t matter if they are the family you were born into or the family you fell into! We all have our unique family traditions that set our celebrations apart and the Thanksgiving festivities at Goldminer’s Daughter are an equal mix unique and traditional.  There is football, turkey, and loved ones surround us, and we get to ski, which may be the best part of Thanksgiving after the turkey and football and the loved ones. Ski all day, watch a bit of football on one of our new flat screen tv’s, and then hit up the annual Thanksgiving Buffet in the Top of the Lodge dining room.  What could be better?!  Perhaps having the whole lodge to yourself, save for the handful of guests each year that know about this best kept secret!

We are looking forward to the annual spread prepared lovingly by Chef Michael McCaffrey and Crispin Goodnow. They do it year after year, and it is always out of this world.

We asked a few of our employees, old and new, for their favorites on Thanksgiving.
