We knew a gathering with former employees would be a blast, what we didn’t know was how special it would be to see employees from the 70s mingle with current employees. We didn’t know how much it would touch our hearts to have so many different ‘generations’ represented at the table. After the inaugural weekend last year, there was no doubt we’d do it again. We hope to do it every year, but for now our sights are set on April 8-10, 2016.
Once again Oldminer’s Weekend is scheduled for the weekend of the longtime Ski Demo weekend.
Former employees, please join us as we celebrate you and the difference you have made to lodge guests since the beginning. We’ll have a similar program as last year with a welcome social in the Saloon Friday beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday night we’ll host an Alumni dinner at the Top of the Lodge dining room. Even if you don’t stay at the lodge for the weekend you are welcome to join us for the dinner ($30 per adult not staying at the lodge at $15 for kids ages 4-12).
Former employees, or Oldminer’s, will receive rates of $100 per person + tax and as you know, this rate includes breakfast and dinner and is based on double occupancy in a Large Guest Room. Single occupancy is $125. Kids 12 and under are free with an adult.
Now that you’ve cleared your calendar for the 2nd annual Goldminer’s Weekend, April 8-10, you are going to want to call to make your reservations. This is the “don’t miss” weekend of the year. Ready to book? Give us a call at (801) 742-2300.
Non-former employees are welcome to join in the fun at regular rates. We know you would love to see some of our former employees and they would love to see you.
Here’s to a fun weekend filled with reminiscing and powder days with all of you Oldminers!
