If you can swing it, early and late seasons are wonderful times to visit.  No crowds, great snow and discounted lodging/meal packages equal great value.  Our discounted season runs from November 22 – December 18 and again from April 1 – 19.  We offer up to 15% off of regular season rates during these time periods.

We average almost 90″ of snow in December and many times have the best early season conditions in the country!  If you haven’t ever visited Alta and are not sure which of the five fabulous lodges would be your best fit, don’t miss the first ever Alta Sleep Around from December 5 – 8, 2013. For $898, you stay one night at three different Alta lodges.  This price includes lodging, airport transfers, all meals, ski rental, lift tickets, photographs and a guided mountain tour!  The next visit, once you figure out that Goldminer’s Daughter Lodge is the best, friendliest and most convenient place to stay, you will forever qualify for our Repeat Guest Discount.  Any guest that has stayed with us in the past receives a 10% discount in the future off of regular season rates, even during Christmas.
